I am giving this doll away to one person on April 11 who must make a comment below to be entered into the random drawing

Why am I giving her away? Because I remember the scene in Pollyanna where the lady put the doll on the hook for Pollyanna. Plus I have been given a very great opportunity to show my dolls as the Special Exhibit at http://empirequiltfest.org Spread the word, you do NOT have to be at the exhibit to be a winner.     What a remarkable example of your craft and skill! I am not at all surprised to see that there is world wide interest in winning your doll. She has an impish, puckish air about her, and I know a lady in the Netherlands who would delight in having her for her very own.

    I have followed Dal's work for several years. Each time she creates a new doll, a new piece of her is revealed. She puts so much if herself into each doll. Those that know her, find those little nuggets.

    The next doll she is working on will be my all time favorite. I have been lucky enough to see some glimpses along the way.

    Dallas, she is beautiful! Totally innocent... comfortable in her own skin.... observing her world... but ready to pounce on anything fun that will come her way. (I have a daughter like that).     This would be the daughter I never had. I would enjoy looking at her big eyes and expressive mouth. Is she big enough for a hug? Maybe I will get to the empire quilt show-its only 1/2 hour away.

    Dallas....what a cutie your doll is; and Pollyanna was one of my favorites to watch, but I always wanted to climb out my bedroom window into a tree but my tree at that time was too small. And your exibit at the EQF was breath-taking and am sure everyone there enjoyed your doll exhibt and especially chatting with you! Stephanie

      Brandi! You are the second person to see I must have been channeling where the wild things are! I hope the author and illustrator don't come after me for trademark infringement because I SWEAR she made herself!!! *laughs* I will be using her as the prototype to launch a line of anthropomorphic creations ... including the first one "Dandylion" more flower than lion.
