omg, as I was looking for this particular post to show to another person, Natascha, I just NOW saw your post. I use silk gauze over the paper clay faces I make instead of leaving them bare to paint. I use acrylic fabric medium and a paint brush to coax it onto the head. I hope you see this and understand. Much love, Dallas
